Benefits of a Ceramic Coating

Ceramic Coatings are the perfect solution for topical gloss and protection. Unlike other coatings, Ceramic Coatings form a hard shell of 3-dimensional polymeric silicon around your vehicle's paint surfaces that acts as sacrificial layer with extreme gloss and clarity. The result is an everlasting shine that you will be able to flaunt.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Ceramic coatings are permanent, but it is better to regard them as semi-permanent. Compared to an automotive finish - e.g. clear coat, base coat, primer - they create a much thinner film on top of the original finish, which in turn makes it relatively easier to remove a ceramic coating by mechanical means. This is one of the reasons why we perform paint correction before installing a ceramic coating. A professional paint correction not only maximizes the lifetime performance of the coating but also lowers the possibility of - knowingly or unknowingly - removing the ceramic coating by wet sanding or heavy compounding.

  • Ceramic coatings are not formulated to repair scratches and correct the paint. Their high inorganic content does not allow them to form a thick layer or self-level. Before ceramic coating, however, almost all cars need paint correction, even brand new cars. Paint correction not only removes blemishes and enhances gloss, but also preps the finish and increases the effective life span of the coating.

  • In most cases, getting your car, SUV, or truck ceramic coated well worth the price. The maximum value that you can get from a ceramic coating depends on four things; (1) how you maintain your car, (2) what kind of a vehicle you have, (3) coating quality, and (4) application quality.

As an owner, if you often neglect your vehicle and wash it once in every two months, it doesn't matter how perfect your paint is or what kind of awesome coat is lying underneath the dust layer atop. A ceramic coating does not eliminate the need for a car wash. If your goal is to keep your car's paint looking its best for a long time, you need to wash it at least one or two times a month and not neglect it.

If your vehicle is - as an example - a daily-driven, black, full-size luxury SUV, you have a lot of reasons to get it ceramic coated.

  • Depending the size of the vehicle, preparation time may vary the total amount of time the service requires based on factors like total surface area of the vehicle, coat curing time and external paint color. Typically most modern day Sedans, SUV and Trucks take anywhere from 2-5 Days
